Mr. Azad has been practising law since 2010. His practice is centred on energy, corporate and commercial, employment and service, and constitutional law, with substantial experience in litigation, regulatory proceedings, commercial disputes, and corporate advisory.

A significant part of his practice is focused on the energy and regulatory sector. He advises clients on regulatory requirements, licensing and compliance, regulatory decisions, contractual arrangements, and disputes involving public authorities. Mr. Azad appears before the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums, including regulatory bodies, in matters involving commercial and corporate disputes, employment and labour issues, regulatory decisions, and constitutional questions.

An important stage in his professional development was his work at Sultan, Fida & Reza, headed by former Attorney General of Bangladesh Barrister Fida M. Kamal, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh. During this period, he worked on significant cases and corporate transactions for domestic and international clients, gaining valuable experience in complex and high-stakes legal work.

Mr. Azad also advises corporate and institutional clients on transactions, regulatory requirements, employment and service matters, and other legal issues arising from their operations. In doing so, he considers not only the legal issues involved but also the practical circumstances and commercial considerations relevant to each matter.
